Brisbane booklet catalogue magazine printing

Hello readers and fellow Brisbane printers or graphic designers. Another update from Uniprint QLD with the updated video about Brisbane booklet catalogue magazine printing. Our friend Usman Gigyani added a scene showing our customer receiving a proof before we begin production.

I thought this was important for a number of reasons. I wanted to show that we offer an artwork or graphic design service as well as printing. I also wanted to stress that we always send a proof for approval before printing.

Non work life has been business as normal. My fiancee Ashleigh and our 2 daughters are heading to Yandina on the sunshine coast in Queensland, for a girls weekend with my sister and mum. It is Poppy’s birthday as well, so Katelyn is super excited to see Nanny & Poppy!

I also had grading for my kung fu school last Saturday and I successfully graded to level 2 & 3. I had previously graded to level 4 at my previous school but  there was still quite a bit of new material to learn. My performance on the day was good, but not fantastic. There was a few small errors made by myself during the forms as well as the partner techniques and drills.

I was a little hesitant to commit to grading after a bad experience at the previous school, but Im glad that I got it over with. Im not going to rush into the next grading for level 4, because its not really a huge priority for me.  Im happy that I don’t have to train with the juniors any more and I am becoming a little sceptical of the value of grading after sparring with some the higher levels. I was not impressed with the actual fighting ability of most, because they don’t spar regularly. Most of them are deluded that they can execute the techniques on a resisting opponent who is also trying to punch them in the face. I call this being stuck in technique land – This is when martial artists don’t ever fight and they think that one technique totally defeats another then that is the end of the confrontation.

Real fights are much different to training at class, and most sober people are much harder to knock out than you might think.

Stationary printer Brisbane

A big hello from Uniprint QLD to all of our stationary printer Brisbane followers! It has been another week in paradise here in Hillcrest, Logan Queensland 4118 Australia. Orders that stand out in my mind include oval shaped die-cut magnet printing for Bush Tracker Owners Group (BOG) in rural/regional QLD.

Uniprint QLD – Stationary Printer Brisbane

We also had some orders for Paper stickers / labels from Red Hill Kindy and CMYK business card for a friend from training who does magician shows for corporate events and children parties here in Brisbane.  We also received an order from a new customer for stationary Printing Brisbane and Business Cards Brisbane. The customer don’t have copies of their working files or print ready artwork, so we may also be offering our services for print design Logan.

The weather has been cold but the wind has’t started yet, so I am expecting August to be even colder for my birthday like it is most winters.

I have also been experimenting with e anti-bacterial/fungal/viral properties of Oregano oil and I have to say I am absolutely amazed! My mum gave me a bottle to treat a wort on my foot about a year ago and it has been sitting around ever since. We gave some to my fiancee’s Grandad because he had a fungal infection in his toe nail that he had been unsuccessfully treating with western medicine for 2 years. After applying oregano oil for 1 month the infection was totally gone, which made me start to pay attention.

I had a parasite infection in my fishtanks named Fluke, which also tends to promote secondary bacterial infections in the weaker fish. After treating the tanks with limited success using Trichlorfin, I decided to give the oregano oil a try.  I put the sickest 4 fish in a bucket, before adding a few drops of oregano oil and giving it a stir.

After a 15 minute bath I put the fish back into my aquarium and noticed a huge change in behaviour. Instead of the lethargic movement and lack of appetite that is an indicator for Fluke, I saw normal swimming and they started binge eating immediately!

Thanks for joining us again for another update regarding Brisbane Magnets Logan.I have received another fiver video from our stop animation Artist Usman Gigyani.

I have attached the draft version as the featured video of this post. I requested a slight change to the ending – In this draft video, Uniprint QLD’s client phones from Brisbane to request a quote. We print the magnets and delivery the goods to the customer, who can then be seen thrown the magnets like ninja stars onto his fridge and his shelf, before receiving an order from his customer.

Brisbane Magnets Logan – Rural / Regional QLD Australia

In the revised version the character will throw the magnets out his window and onto the fridges of his prospective customers, then receive an order by phone. I thought this made more sense, as he didn’t actually distribute the magnets before receiving an order in the initial draft version.

Usman is such a superstar, he messaged me back within a few hours saying he would have a revised ending finished by the next day.  The next time I logged onto the revised video was waiting for me and it is perfect!! I will upload it as the featured video on my next blog post in a few days time, so you can all take a look.

I also found a great new freelancer through Upwork who has completed some on page SEO work around improving page load speed. He has changed our DNS settings to use Cloudflare, minified CSS and JS as well as fixing some caching issues. Our page speed has improved by around 50%, which seems like a pretty good outcome.

We also created a 301 re-direct from our old websites to our new one, which should help increase our ranking. I just need to keep an eye on our rankings to make sure that we aren’t bringing any penalties across to the new URL.

Heya this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding
knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with
experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
